Melissa Vogt is a wine communications strategist whose experience encompasses public relations, editorial, digital media, marketing, and brand storytelling.

Her career includes editorial, marketing, and communications work with Wine Country This Month, SommSelect, and Sonoma County Winegrowers, as well as consulting for wine country media agencies Good Things Done Right and Studio 707. She also served as Deputy Editor at Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, where she contributed to the publication's Wine Journal.

Melissa holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from Sonoma State University, along with WSET Level III Advanced and California Wine Appellation Specialist certifications.

In 2021, Melissa founded Magnum Media, a boutique communications agency specializing in family-owned wineries. Drawing on her experience on both sides of the media relationship, she brings an editorial perspective to public relations—helping wineries identify the stories that distinguish their brands and translating them into thoughtful communications, meaningful media coverage, and greater visibility.
